  MDR provides many solutions for renewable energy applications, especially for hydropower industry with rich experience and expertise. We also provide bearing solutions for other energy applications, such as wind, solar, oil and gas, offshore, nuclear and tidal energy.
  
  The SunLa hydropower project in northern Vietnam uses custom-made self-calibrated spherical MDR bearings. MDR designed custom spherical bearings and installed in cam rollers of heavy roller covers has provided ultra-low friction, maximum wear resistance and complete corrosion resistance. This environmentally friendly bearing is maintenance-free and is expected to last more than 500 years.
  
  MDR self-lubricating bimetallic bearings have been used in many applications for Changheba Hydropower Dam in China, including side doors, connecting rod mechanisms, servo motors and operating ring adjusting mechanisms of the new Francis turbine. With the support of experts and the characteristics of MDR bearings, such as high efficiency, long service life, reduced maintenance, improved operation and low cost, MDR bearings have been selected by Harbin Electric Machinery Co., Ltd. (HEC), one of the largest OEM turbine manufacturers in the world.

  
  Vietnam Machinery and Industrial Equipment (MIE) selected MDR to supply bearings to An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Project. MDR provides self-lubricating straight bearings for arc gates and axial bearings for entry maintenance gates. Even in wet, dirty environment and exposed to sea water, bearings can provide absolute corrosion resistance, maximum wear resistance and long service life.
